This Story Began with a Migraine
Our founder, Şebnem Oğuz, lived for many years with migraines triggered by extreme sensitivity to bad odors. The worst part was the so-called “solutions” on the market: heavily chemical room fragrances, synthetic spray products, and masking aroma diffusers. Instead of eliminating odor, they added a new chemical layer on top of it and made her migraines even worse.
When She Found the Solution She Was Looking For
The moment she discovered OdorGO, both a solution and a mission were born.
OdorGO does not suppress odors with chemicals or cover them with perfume. Using only plant-based oils, it finds, surrounds and neutralizes odor molecules at the molecular level — based on the principle of “Find, Bind, Eliminate.” Since 1988, this technology has been proven in some of the world’s toughest environments across the United States and Europe, from oil refineries and yacht bilges to hospital corridors and global vehicle fleets.
For Şebnem Oğuz, this became both a personal relief and a real solution she could offer to millions of people experiencing the same problem. OdorGO came to Turkey through her initiative and vision.

A Women-Led Initiative, A Family Project
Şebnem Oğuz is one of the first graduates of Galatasaray University’s Faculty of Communication. She completed her MBA at Sorbonne University. In her professional career, she gained experience in communication and brand management at Kanal D, Plan PR and Marketing, and Miele Turkey.
With the birth of her first child, she stepped away from her corporate career full-time to raise her three children — two daughters and one son. When her children grew older, she waited not for an ordinary business opportunity, but for a product she truly believed in, personally needed, and knew would create tangible value for people. OdorGO became that product.

Science and Design, Within the Family
Today, this journey has become a true family project. Şebnem Oğuz’s elder daughter is a 2026 graduate of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at New York University (NYU) — a discipline at the very heart of the molecular odor neutralization science behind our brand. Her younger daughter studies Art and Technology at Pratt Institute. OdorGO is therefore not only a women-led initiative; it is the product of a family intelligence that extends from molecules to design, from scientific discipline to creative expression.
