You mopped the floors and the house smells like detergent. In the evening you walk in and that familiar heaviness is back.
Most of the time the cleaning was not the problem. Detergent takes the dirt, and its perfume covers the odor for a while. If the odor molecules are still on the surface, in the fabric or in the rubber seal of the machine, you smell them again once the perfume fades.
ODORGO Multi-Purpose Odor Eliminator Liquid 500 ml was made for this gap. How do you fix laundry that still smells after washing?
A gym shirt, a towel, the dog's blanket. They come out of the machine clean, then the smell returns once they dry. Add your detergent as usual and put one capful of Multi-Purpose Liquid in the detergent drawer. The machine's own smell goes down too.

Can one bottle handle both dishwasher and fridge odor?
Yes, with different doses. In a dishwasher that has washed fish or eggs, the odor settles into the plastic racks and the filter. Clean the filter, then add 20 mL of Multi-Purpose Liquid with your detergent and run a cycle.
The fridge takes even less. Spilled milk or a forgotten vegetable leaves its smell in the plastic of the shelf. Wipe the shelf, then go over it once more with a damp cloth and a few drops. If the odor returns within hours, the source is deeper.
Can a carpet washer take out odor in carpets and sofas?
Yes. Add 50 mL to the clean water tank of the carpet and upholstery washing machine, together with the machine's own detergent. Pet, spilled food and damp odors sit inside the fibers; the water reaches that far, and so does the additive.
If you don't own a carpet washer, ODORGO Odor Eliminator Spray 250 ml does the same job from the surface: shake the bottle well, spray the area that smells, and let it dry. The spray is water-based; you can use it on any surface that water does not harm. On water-sensitive fabrics and surfaces (unfinished or untreated wood, silk, leather, electronics, etc.), test on a small hidden area first.
How do you mix it for mop water, countertops, the trash can and the balcony?
The ratio is the same for all four: 15 mL per 1 liter of water.
- Fill the bucket with water and your usual surface cleaner.
- Add 15 mL of Multi-Purpose Liquid for every liter and stir.
- Mop the floor. If the balcony or terrace smells of barbecue or plant-pot water, wash it with the same mix.
- For the countertop and table, pour some of the mix into an empty spray bottle; spray and wipe with a cloth.
- Empty the trash can, wipe it inside and out with this water, and let it dry.
Changing the bag is not enough for a trash can; the sour smell has settled into the plastic itself.
